Feeling lost without a map?

ADHD & Identity Therapy

What if you're not lazy?

I know.

You've probably asked yourself that question before.

Maybe you've spent years feeling like you're constantly trying harder than everyone else just to keep up.

You make lists.
You set reminders.
You promise yourself this week will be different.

And sometimes it works.

Until it doesn't.

Then the self-criticism starts up again.

You tell yourself you need more discipline. More motivation. Better habits.

But what if the problem isn't a lack of effort?

What if you've been trying to navigate life with a brain that works differently and no one ever taught you how to work with it?

ADHD affects more than attention

ADHD can impact focus, organization, time management, and follow-through.

But for many adults, the hardest part isn't the symptoms themselves.

It's what they've come to believe about themselves because of those symptoms.

Over time, you may have started carrying stories like:

  • I'm unreliable.

  • I'm bad at being an adult.

  • I never follow through.

  • Everyone else has this figured out except me.

  • I'm too much.

  • I'm not enough.

Those stories can become just as painful as the ADHD itself.

Therapy isn't about fixing you

You don't need to become more productive to be worthy of support. My goal isn't to help you force yourself into systems that don't fit.

Instead, we'll work toward understanding how your brain works, identifying what's getting in the way, and finding approaches that actually feel sustainable.

We'll also explore how ADHD has shaped your identity, relationships, confidence, and the way you talk to yourself.

Because ADHD isn't just something you have.

It influences how you move through the world.

Some of the things we might work on

  • Adult ADHD

  • Late-diagnosed ADHD

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Burnout and overwhelm

  • Emotional regulation

  • Masking

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-criticism

  • Self-esteem

  • Relationships and boundaries

  • Building self-trust

  • Understanding your neurodivergent identity

You deserve a different conversation with yourself

Many people come to therapy hoping to become better at managing their ADHD.

What they often discover is that they also need space to grieve, unlearn, understand, and reconnect with themselves.

You have spent enough time fighting your brain.

Let's get curious about how it works instead.

50-minute sessions

The 50 minute sessions are your standard therapy session. We will map out your struggles, map out your resources and put together a plan to get to the relief that you are seeking.

Sessions typically begin with a short mindful self compassion exercise. These build upon your ability to be in the moment and are designed to ground you to the therapy experience.

…Okay, so this sounds like what you’re looking for- how do we get started?

Intensive 80- minute sessions

The 80 minute sessions are intensive sessions where you have the time needed to explore at depth the issues that you are facing and push through to get you closer to your goals quicker.

For these sessions we can take a short break in the middle to allow you to take care of yourself and to promote greater focus in the second half of the session.
