Coming in October 2026: CSWA Clinical Supervision!

Big news from Therapy with Laney: I'm opening up space to provide clinical supervision to Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWAs) working toward full licensure.

If you're an Oregon CSWA looking for a supervisor, I'd love to talk.

Why I'm Doing This

Supervision was a pivotal part of my own path to licensure. The right supervisor doesn't just sign off on hours — they help you find your clinical voice, ask the questions that make you a sharper, more grounded clinician, and remind you that you don't have to have it all figured out yet. I want to offer that same kind of support to the next wave of social workers entering the field.

What I Bring to Supervision

My clinical work centers on ADHD, anxiety, and identity, primarily with Millennial and Gen Z clients. If your caseload overlaps with these areas or you're hoping to build a practice that does we're likely to be a strong fit. Beyond specialty overlap, I aim to offer supervision that's:

  • Practical. We'll talk real cases, real dilemmas, real countertransference — not just theory.

  • Ethics-forward. Expect regular grounding in the NASW Code of Ethics and Oregon licensing requirements.

  • Honest. I'll challenge you when it's useful and support you when you need it sometimes both in the same session.

What Supervision Looks Like

We'll meet regularly (weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and licensing timeline) to review cases, talk through clinical decision-making, and track your progress toward licensure requirements. Sessions can happen in person or via secure telehealth.

Who This Is For

This is a good fit if you're:

  • A CSWA in Oregon accumulating hours toward LCSW licensure

  • Working with — or hoping to specialize in — ADHD, anxiety, or identity-related concerns

  • Looking for a supervisor who's a genuine thought partner, not just a signature

Interested?

Spots are limited, and I want to make sure it's the right match on both sides before we commit. If you think we might click, reach out through therapywithlaney.com to set up a consult call. We'll talk about your goals, your current caseload, and whether my style of supervision is what you're looking for.

I'm genuinely excited to support new social workers as they step into this field. If that's you — let's talk.
